  Think of “All-on-4” as a specific brand name for using four implants to hold up a bridge. While it works for some, we prefer the “All-on-X” approach. The “X” just means we use the exact number of implants your specific jawbone needs—whether that’s 4, 5, or 6. This extra level of customization makes your new smile much more stable and reliable in the long run.

• Is the implant procedure painful? Are there any sedation options?

  Most of our patients tell us it was much easier than they expected. We use very precise 3D mapping to make the surgery as gentle as possible. If you’re nervous, don’t worry—we offer several sedation options, including IV sedation, so you can basically sleep through the visit and wake up with a brand-new smile.
